Who we are

Privi Marketing was created in August 2009 when the realisation dawned that generating tens of millions of dollars for some of the most esteemed and effective not-for-profits in existence, whilst offering wholesome and rewarding opportunity for my team and continuing my personal and financial development was a more worthy goal than casting aside all responsibility, travelling the world and perhaps writing a book. Thus plans were changed and full commitment given to creating a face to face fundraising agency of choice - for clients, associates, fundraisers, managers and the wider community. We achieve this by excelling in volume and quality of pledges whilst offering the highest standard of experience for every person we engage with. We have the knowledge, understanding and talent to make this a reality; for over 9 years I have worked in face to face fundraising across 3 countries, in multiple methodologies and representing over 20 not-for-profits. During this time I have been, and still am, a frontline street and door to door fundraiser, personally recruiting several thousand monthly givers and performed roles such as Administrator, Account Manager, Trainer, Team Leader, Fundraising Manager, National Operations Manager and most recently General Manager of Australia and New Zealand's leading cause driven face to face agency. It is with great gratitude that I now take up a new challenge and one that offers the chance to further explore 2 activities I greatly value - supporting positive change in the world and empowering individuals in accelerating their own development.

The name Privi has 3 meanings:

1 in abbreviated form this refers to the considerable privilege of representing such esteemed not-for-profits and of working in an industry that so abundantly combines personal opportunity and challenge with producing a wider world benefit. It speaks to of the privilege of living in a country such as Australia where we are so advantaged and laden with freedom and opportunity the question we might most prudently ask is 'How am I using that advantage?'. In addition it is my hope that, in time, Privi Marketing will serve others sufficiently that they see the partnership as having been a privilege in itself.
2 secondly it refers to being privy to information and opportunity as we are in face to face fundraising; unconventional and relatively new as a way of making a living those that are able to create success through face to face have access to information and insight that most do not.
3 and thirdly, lest we become intoxicated by the nobility of our cause or inflated by the charming brilliance of our work, there is another meaning that serves as a reminder not to take ourselves too seriously!
